The inversion modelling method of taking vitrinite reflectance as palaeogeotherm check indexes is emphatically expounded.The key of computing palacseotherm by thermal conduction basic formula is the restoration palae-heat flow Q.In the light of Lerche's study,palae-heat flow Q is of functional relation with present-heat flow Q0.So.it is very important to extract out the β value of the functional formula by inversing the vitrinite reflectance.While computing.only considering that theβ value is relative to the Basin's development and evolution,can the inversion result more tally with actual situation.The β vector relative to the heat flow histry is designed.Palaeogeotherm is repeatedly corrected by takiny vitrinite reflectance as thermal indexes.Two-dimensional computer model of palaeogeotherm modelling restoration is set up.It is proved by computation result that the method is reliable to palaeogeotherm modelling.
